Yep, I decided to make a forum game besides the 3 word story.
Basically, this is an RPG where you have to evolve a creature. You start off with a couple creatures of that species, but you can add parts and eventually either make one super powerful creature, a LOT of the same, average species, or a bunch of different species that work together.
You start off as a water creature, but you can evolve to go on land (traitor!) or stay in the water. The goal of the game is to eliminate or ally all the other species, or both. Some might be other players, some might be evil ones made by me.
You start off with 10 points to make a creature, and this is how to make one.
You have to have at least one mouth, you don't really have to have anything else, because your creature clan wiggle around.
There are 4 levels of parts, the first level is one point, 2nd is two, 3rd is three, and of course one 4th level part costs 4 points.
You can be a carnivore, herbivore, or omnivore. This decides what you can use to eat. (Obviously)
There's some general rules, like if you want to grab stuff you need hands, running and walking requires legs, and all that other stuff that you should be able to figure out using common sense.
If you want to play, you have to be given the OK for all the parts that you want to use, because you might want to have some super powerful parts as level 1, etc....
Use your imagination to create the parts you want, and make sure what you want to do can be done by those parts. Like if you want to peck someones eyes out, you need a beak.
Instead of putting your points into new parts for new abilities, you can use your points to make you creature smarter (yay!) What being smarter does is: You can make tools, buildings, eventually vehicles, and have a civilization going. Putting 6 points into your brain lets you make basic tools, 10 lets you have basic traps, better tools, and basic buildings. 15 means bigger buildings, better tools, and stuff to make your creatures life easier, like farms! 30 is the ability to have wild animals as pets, and 50 means civilization, as in vehicles, cities, and all the other stuff you would expect from that. IF you put 100 points in your brain, you can have space ships and other cool futuristic stuff.
There IS some form of magic on this planet, but you can only obtain it by being very smart, but being natural, as in no huge factories. You must learn the basic magic from another creature (You can learn it from another player) before you can upgrade it, so you have to earn the ability to learn the magic. Heres a chart of the powers you get.
Combat is basically determined by your creatures parts, smartness, and of course a bit of luck.
If I missed anything in this monster post, tell me.
To get more points you have to conquer/eliminate/befriend other species, depending on how strong/smart they are I will give you points accordingly.
Making a *new* species costs 15 points, but they will start off as a 1 point species, not a 15 point species.
You can have mounts and pets, but you must create them yourselves. 10 points for a verryy basic mount, then you can upgrade it as you can upgrade your creature. 5 points for very basic pet, can upgrade like your creature after that. Mounts will make traveling easier, and if they are like war mounts they can fight.
Pets will help you in pretty much everything, they CAN learn magic.
